Information Companion Map collects
Companion Map currently has no accounts, comments, contact form, newsletter, payment system or advertising tracker. The Browse filters work in your browser and place selected filters in the page URL so the filtered view can be bookmarked or shared.
Hosting and technical logs
The site is hosted by Vercel. Like most hosting providers, it may process technical request information such as IP address, browser or device details, requested pages and timestamps to deliver and protect the site. Companion Map does not currently use those logs to build user profiles.
Cookies and analytics
Companion Map uses Vercel Web Analytics for aggregate visitor trends and a Companion Map operations dataset stored in Supabase for traffic, page-journey and outbound-link measurement. With analytics permission, the operations dataset records a random browser identifier, a browser-session identifier, landing and viewed paths, the full available referring URL, campaign parameters, raw IP address, full browser User-Agent and general device context. When a managed product link is followed, it also records the source page, link placement and stable Companion Map exit path, which the operations workspace maps to the active external destination. Tendera affiliate promotions use the same managed exit system; with analytics permission, Companion Map records their source page, placement and outbound click. This information is used for audience geography, traffic quality, product interest, site improvement, security and commercial referral reporting. Companion Map does not use it for cross-site advertising and does not attach it to a Companion Map account.
External links
Product websites, app stores and other cited sources have their own privacy practices. Following an external link leaves Companion Map and is governed by the destination service. External links may send the destination the referring origin, https://companionmap.com, so the destination can recognize traffic referred by Companion Map; the specific Companion Map page path is not sent through that referrer setting.
