Privacy and data controls

Character.AI processes account, conversation, search, usage and device information. Apple's developer-submitted disclosure lists several categories that may be linked to identity and some data that may be used for tracking. Accounts can be deleted from web or mobile settings. Its current age-assurance process uses account and activity signals; optional selfie or ID checks are handled by Persona, which Character.AI says deletes biometric or ID submissions within seven days.
